Trick-or-treat at the Detroit Zoo with annual Zoo Boo

(WJBK) - Celebrate Halloween at the Detroit Zoo this season with its annual Zoo Boo.

The celebration takes families on a decorated trick-or-treat trail throughout the front of the zoo. On the trail, you'll find animal sculptures made from hundreds of gourds and pumpkins, a spooky straw maze and the Haunted Reptilr House.

Zoo Boo will be held on the evenings of October 7-9, October 14-16 and October 21-23, 5 to 8 p.m., rain or shine. Advance ticket purchase is encouraged. Walk-up tickets will only be sold between 6:45 and 7:45 p.m.
