Violence, inappropriate touching, drugs and a whole lot more.

For years neighbors have been calling an east side Detroit strip club a nuisance. Now, it's shutting down but the party might not be over for good.

"You can stand on the street and do whatever you need to, but not on the property," said the owner.

FOX 2: "Do you want to address the club being shut down?"

"I'm not addressing anything - get off the property, that's what I'm addressing," he said.

He did not want to talk about his strip club being shut down  -- it's not the first time FOX 2 has been kicked off the property...

"We have nothing to say sir, nothing at all," he said last winter.

That was when city officials, neighbors and Detroit police banded together to take action against what they called a neighborhood nuisance on Conant - with gunfire, fights, drugs, dancers being groped, and indecent exposure.

At that time, Pastor Marvin Winans said: "The only way this is going to stop is if the neighborhood rises up and says we don't want this kind of garbage in our neighborhood."

At the time, authorities were able to get the club's license revoked.

"In terms of what happened that brought closure to this location, it was the Detroit Police Department," Chief James Craig said, then.

But Erotic City didn't close - the club appealed the city's decision - but now - months later - it actually happened. Dancers were escorted out Wednesday afternoon and this club - closed for business - for the next 90 days.

It is welcome news for city councilman Scott Benson - who's been fighting to shut it down - for months.

"The message from me is I hope they'll relocate and go somewhere else," he said. "The message from the city is that you have to comply with the law - if you don't comply with the law - it may  take some time but we're going to make sure that you comply and we're going to enforce the law."

The club will remain closed for 90 days - it remains to be seen what will happen after that.
