Two teens who went missing over the weekend from Wayne County have been found safe in Alabama.

Timothy Wieber of Plymouth Township and Lillian Nguyen of Canton Township, both 16, left their respective homes Saturday night and were traveling together, police said. They were seen on an ATM surveillance camera Saturday night near Toledo, Ohio.

Their families were concerned for their safety as Nguyen has depression, and both teens have made suicidal statements to family and friends, police said.

The Canton Police Department says they were notified around 10 p.m. Tuesday that the teens were found safe in Alabama.

Police say the families are looking forward to being united with their children, but wouldn't offer any more details at this time.
