The manager of Vision Lanes bowling alley says there will be no more weapons allowed in the building after the shooting.

Two people were hospitalized after being shot at Vision Lanes Bowling alley in Westland. Manager says the safety of the staff and customers are a top priority right now.

The manager at Vision Lanes Steven Klein says the safety of the staff members and customers is a top priority right now and that no more weapons are allowed in the building. 

"We are mortified by what happened. We are shocked, and we are just taking every measure possible. We are airing on the side of caution right now, and there will be no guns in here, no weapons in this place ever again, " says Steven Klein.

The Westland Police are investigating after a shooting at a popular bowling alley left one dead and one hospitalized, according to police.

Police responded to Vision Lanes Bowling Alley around 12:41 a.m. Saturday on reports of shots fired inside the building. 

According to the owner of the bowling alley, this escalated after an argument between the two parties. 

It is unknown at this time if the suspect and victim had any relation to each other. 

Westland Police say this is an active and ongoing investigation.
