UberEATS launches in Detroit

DETROIT (WJBK) - Getting food from your favorite Detroit restaurants will now be as easy as ordering an Uber.

UberEATS is set to launch in Detroit at 9 a.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017. 

The food delivery service will bring dozens of menus from Detroit favorites to your fingertips through its free app -- and have it delivered right to your door.

Some of the restaurants on the list are Dilla's Delights, Olga's, Andiamo, Hot Taco, and Kerby's Koney Island.

Detroit is the 100th city in the United States to launch this service. 

To use UberEATS, first download the free UberEATS app and log in with your Uber account. Select your restaurant, and browse through their menu. You pay with your card that's on file with Uber -- and then watch as your order is picked up and delivered to you. 

To receive free delivery on your first two orders, enter the promo code DETROITEATS in the app now through December 14.
