A dad who was recently released from prison for a robbery he committed at the age of 17 made a plea on Facebook, asking for someone to hire him despite his criminal record and enormous face tattoo. It went viral, leading him to receive almost 50 job offers - all of which he has rejected.

Mark Cropp went viral earlier this month when he made a desperate plea for work. He went on social media to beg someone to give him a break. He has a giant tattoo that saiys "DEVAST8" across the lower half of his face. He said he got the tattoo while in prison and drunk on homebrew wine.

He was arrested in 2015, at the age of 17. for aggravated robbery after he and a friend pulled a knife on a tourist. He pleaded guilty to multiple charges including aggravated robbery and assault with a weapon.

Within hours of posting on social media, he said that he had received multiple job opportunities. He said he stopped counting at 45. He didn't accept any of the jobs.

He told the Daily Mail Australia he still hasn't "done a day's work" claiming he is "just waiting for the right one to come about".

Some of the jobs required him to be able to drive himself, which he said ruled him out until he can get a car to get himself around.

As for the tattoo, he says he's getting rid of the ink because he says it's the best thing for his future.

He told the New Zealand Herald that he committed the crime so he could try and get a house for he and his pregnant girlfriend.
