Clinton Township woman hospitalized after being hit by vehicle on Metro Parkway
The driver did stop at the scene early this morning and is cooperating with police.
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (FOX 2) - A woman was critically injured after she was hit early Wednesday while walking in Clinton Township.
Police said the 42-year-old victim was in the crosswalk crossing Metro Parkway at Gratiot Avenue around 4:30 a.m. when she was hit by a Kia Sportage in the left eastbound lane. She was taken to a hospital in critical condition where she remains.
The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with police.
An investigation is ongoing.
