Walking with Detroit Police Department on National Walking Day

Detroit Police Chief James E. Craig and 1st Assistant Chief Lashinda T. Stair laced up their sneakers and led a walk in front of the Detroit Public Safety Headquarters on April 6 on National Walking Day.

The walk also kicked off the second phase of the Detroit Police Department's health and wellness initiative, "DPD Fit 4 Duty University" and a 30-day "Mile-A-Month" Walking Challenge. Various members of the Detroit Police Department and the American Heart Association took part in the walk.

FOX 2's Roop Raj was there. He takes us live to the walk in the video player above.
