3 killed in wrong-way driver crash on M-14 ramp

Three people died after a wrong-way driver hit another vehicle while on a freeway ramp Washtenaw County on Wednesday morning.

Michigan State Police said both sides of the road are open, but the ramp to eastbound M-14 from Gotfredson will be closed indefinitely for an investigation.

According to MSP, a 2024 Nissan Rouge was going the wrong way on eastbound M-14 and tried to use the Gotfredson to get off the freeway just before 7:20 a.m. The Rouge hit a 2020 Tesla that was getting on the freeway the correct way.
