Woman accused of using bowling ball as weapon to strike victim
BERKLEY, Mich. (WJBK) - A woman was arrested at a Berkley bowling alley accused of using a bowling ball as a weapon.
Police say 26-year-old Ariel Gaskin of Detroit was arrested last week at Hartfield Lanes on 12 Mile after an employee called to report a fight.
We're told security video shows Gaskin with a bowling ball in her hand - confronting a woman - then hitting her in the face with it. Gaskin is charged with felonious assault.
Numerous people were fighting inside the alley causing officers to use a Taser to help quell the situation which broke out at about 1:30 a.m. on Feb. 25.
Police viewed security footage which shows the alleged assault where Gaskin used a bowling ball to strike a 27-year-old Detroit woman.
