MACOMB TWP., Mich. (WJBK) - It's day four of digging in Macomb Township -- police believe the remains of up to six missing girls are buried in the area and they're determined to keep searching until the decades-old mysteries are solved.
Brenda Handloser says she feels it in her heart. Her sister Nadine O'Dell disappeared in 1974, and Brenda says she truly believes her sister's remains are in the wooded area in northern Macomb County.
"This is the final chapter. I know keep saying that too but it is. She's just across that tape," she said.

Investigators spent a fourth day digging in the wooded area, looking for the remains of Kimberly King, the 12-year-old from Warren who disappeared in 1979. They're also looking for the remains of 4-6 other girls.
"One day she was there, the next day she was gone. That's why I can't leave here," Brenda said.
Warren Police Commissioner Bill Dwyer says the suspect in the Kimberly King case is 69-year-old Arthur Ream, who is serving a life sentence in prison for killing Cindy Zarzycki in 1986.

Her remains were found in this same area after Ream told authorities where to look, but that was 10 years ago and while he recently allegedly bragged to cell mates that he killed several other girls, he isn't talking to police now.

"If Nadine is here and I look like her say, how does it feel, for the dead to look at you in the face?" she said. "You ain't seen crazy. I'm comin for you."
