TROY, Mich. (FOX 2) - An Imlay City woman had a BAC level four times the legal limit when she was caught driving drunk in Troy last month.
Police said a caller reported a Ford F-150 driving all over the road and hitting multiple curbs in the area of Stephenson Highway and E. Maple before pulling into the parking lot of a Belle Tire on Rochester Road just after 12:30 a.m. Dec. 13.
When police arrived, they spoke with the 58-year-old driver and asked her to perform several field sobriety tests. She performed poorly and was given a Breathalyzer test.
Police said the woman blew .285, about 3 ½ over the legal limit of .08. She was arrested and taken to the Troy jail, where she took two chemical breath tests with even higher BAC results – .313 and .342, four times over the legal limit.
The woman was charged with operating with a BAC of .17 or more.
