DETROIT (FOX 2) - A single mother was robbed at gunpoint in front of her children and grandchildren.
It happened at 1:30 a.m. Friday outside the Comerica Bank at Evergreen and Warren on Detroit's west side.
Donna Tate says, she was walking back from the ATM when a young man and two women approached her.
She says, the man demanded her money and put a gun to her stomach. Her children and grandchildren were nearby in her car.
"These people out here robbing and taking money, they are old enough, they look healthy enough, go get a (expletive) job," Tate said. "Do something. Don't take from other people. We are barely making it ourselves."
Donna says, the trio got away with a thousand dollars she was going to use to pay rent.
She has set up a GoFundMe page asking for help to pay her bills.
