Woman run over, killed during argument on Detroit's east side
DETROIT (FOX 2) - A woman is dead after a suspected argument early Thursday in Detroit resulted in a driver running her over.
Police said three women - two in a vehicle and one outside - were arguing in the area of Harper and Conner around 2:15 a.m. when the driver ran over the woman who was outside, killing her.
"As I was inside, I heard screaming, and I stepped out," said Christopher, who works at a gas station near the scene. "I saw a lady laying out here. It's a messed up situation."
The driver was arrested.
An investigation is ongoing.
