Ypsilanti woman charged with murder after deadly Detroit baby shower shooting
DETROIT (FOX 2) - An Ypsilanti woman is accused of shooting and killing a Detroit woman at a baby shower earlier this month.
Prosecutors say there was an argument in the 15600 block of Edmore Drive in Detroit around 7 p.m. Oct. 15. During that argument, Shawanda Woods allegedly pulled out a gun and shot 44-year-old Phebian Williams in the neck. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

Woods is charged with second-degree murder and felony firearm. She was remanded to the Wayne County Jail.
A 36-year-old man, Leandre Devon Love, is also facing charges after he allegedly followed Woods to the Detroit Police Department's 9th Precinct and hit her with his vehicle.

He is charged with assault with intent to murder and felonious assault. He was given a $100,000 personal bond.
