Taneisha Cordell joins FOX 2 after reporting at WEWS-TV in Cleveland, where she earned three Central Great Lakes Emmy nominations, and WRCB-TV/Local 3 in Chattanooga. Over the years, she has covered everything from breaking news and severe weather to community events and human-interest stories.
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Taneisha is the oldest of three siblings. She leads with her spiritual faith and empathy in all aspects of her life, believing in the power of storytelling. Her greatest fulfillment comes from helping people and being part of change, advocacy, and empowerment. She’s deeply grateful to those who trust her to share their experiences.
A graduate of the University of Miami, Taneisha holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Public Relations with a minor in Theatre. She was also a track and field scholarship athlete at The U, an NCAA All-American, and an Ohio Division I High School State Record Holder in the 4x400-meter relay.
With a true adventurer's spirit, Taneisha loves traveling, working out, trying new restaurants. She’s also a music lover and has released two EPs
