Jamie Sherrod
I love my city, I love what I do, and I’m so blessed to do it at a station I grew up watching and have always wanted to be apart of.
I’ve spent my career working all over the beautiful state of Michigan; from Alpena to the Saginaw/Flint area and even Grand Rapids. Prior to working at FOX 2, I was an Anchor/Reporter at FOX 17 in West Michigan.
Throughout my career, I’ve covered various stories including the Flint Water Crisis, 2020 Presidential Election, Michigan’s race to Governor, the mass shooting at Michigan State University and so much more.
However, my favorite stories to tell are the ones that shine a light on the community and the incredible people who live in it. I strive to inform, inspire, empower, uplift, and hopefully make you smile at some point throughout your day.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, experiencing new restaurants, throwing down in my own kitchen, spending time with family and being involved in the community.
I’m a firm believer that you can do anything you put your mind to, work towards and pray for!
