The Detroit Lions have announced drastically discounted food & beverage pricing for the upcoming season at Ford Field.

The Lions announced the new pricing for pops, hot dogs, beer, cocktails, and specialty drinks for the first hour after gates open, which the Lions are calling DTE Energy Power Hour.

Prices will be: $2 sodas, $2 hot dogs, $3 packaged beers, $3 well drinks, and $5 specialty cocktails at Social at Gate D and the Corner Bar & Grille along with Bud Light Party Zone and BLITZ.

The Lions say the prices are a drop of 60% from last season.

Beyond that, the Lions will also have reduced prices through the entire game with the Silver Savings menu. with combos for $10: "A hot dog, chips, and soda for $10 (savings of $5.50) or a hot dog, chips, and beer for $12 (savings of $2.25)."

You can find the deals at all Streats of Detroit locations, Snack Zone, on the Henry Ford Health System Concourse, the Gridiron North Club and South Club Café.

There will also be locations throughout Ford Field where they sell five dollar beer during the game.

“These fan-friendly, value-added food and beverage options are another example of us taking feedback from fans and using it to improve our gameday experience,” said Detroit Lions Team President Rod Wood in press release. “Over the past year we have spent considerable time working with Levy to get something in place that makes sense for our fans without hurting the quality or speed of service. We’re thrilled to be able to introduce these value options in time for the 2018 season.”

Also announced were giveaways this season at every game for the first 25,000 fans including rally towels, license plate frames, car flags, coasters, hats, and a Darius Slay Bobblehead doll.
