Michigan cancels spring game due to weather

The University of Michigan canceled their annual spring game on Wednesday due to weather concerns for Saturday including the forecast of thunderstorms.

Michigan also announced the game will not be rescheduled due to finals next week and the limited number of practices allowed.

Saturday was going to be the debut of quarterback Shea Patterson who transferred in the offseason from Ole Miss.  Patterson's status for this season is still in limbo as his waiver request to not have to sit out a year is currently in the hands of the NCAA and has yet to be decided.
