SportsWorks: Dan Miller, Jamie Samuelsen & John Niyo

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) - FOX 2's Sports Director Dan Miller was joined by Jamie Samuelsen & John Niyo Sunday night on the SportsWorks roundtable as they started with the Lions loss to the Carolina Panthers Sunday and their offensive struggles.  They also talked how they struggled without getting turnovers Sunday.  The crew also talked about the running game and Eric Ebron's disappointing day.

The panel then moved on to the Michigan State at Michigan game and how the Spartans showed they are still the best team in Michigan.  They talked how Michigan State had strong play calling and how bad a loss this is for Jim Harbaugh.  The guys broke down both teams and where they are headed.  They also briefly talked about the Western Michigan and Buffalo overtime thriller Saturday.

The Red Wings were next on the docket and they talked about how great the new arena is.  They brought up the status of the Wings right now and how the people in the room believe they will be better this season.  The crew then moved on to the Pistons and the state of their team.  How Reggie Jackson might be their most important player and Stanley Johnson needs to take the next step.  

Lions Game Night then came on as the crew went more in depth into the Lions loss to Carolina on Sunday and previewed next week's game against the New Orleans Saints.
