SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) - FOX 2's Sports Director Dan Miller was joined by Jamie Samuelsen & Pat Caputo on the roundtable as they talked about the Red Wings rough weekend. Pat says the bottom line is they've been more entertaining and there have been some specs of light at the end of the tunnel. Jamie says he thinks Jeff Blashill is enjoying this season because of the development from the kids. Pat also gives advice to Ken Holland on what he should and shouldn't do.
The roundtable moved on to the Pistons and Ed Stefanski's state of the team. Jamie says he doesn't feel the same optimism about Luke Kennard as Ed Stefanski. Pat says the deals have the fingerprint's of their analytic department.
Tigers' head to camp this upcoming week and the guys talk about what they're looking for.
Basketball analyst Tim McCormick joined the roundtable to break down the current NCAA Tournament seeds. They moved on to Michigan State's blowout win over Minnesota. Tim says they did a great job with ball security and had great games from Matt McQuaid & Nick Ward.
Michigan's huge win over Wisconsin was brought up. Tim says it was a brilliant defensive game and Jon Teske played one of the best games defensively at center in their history.
Pistons were also mentioned and Tim says by Monday night the Pistons should be in playoff position. He also analyzed all their moves at the deadline.
