Michigan's August primary election has arrived

The state's long-awaited primary election has finally arrived, and it's a strange one. Voters who haven't already mailed in their absentee ballots and are casting their vote in person will find several changes made to the traditional election system.

The Trump campaign said Democratic leaders don't want the president on the campaign trail after he blamed restrictions in Michigan for keeping him from holding a "big rally in Michigan" during an interview on Sunday with FOX News. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's office said they haven't received any request from the president about holding a rally.
