Michigan road repair funding proposal getting push back

Back during the disastrous 2008 recession the auto industry was on the ropes and then Michigan Gov. Granholm and the legislature crafted a MEGA grant tax credit for the automakers and six other major businesses. Under the House GOP Road Fix Package pushed by GOP House Speaker Matt Hall, the MEGA grants would disappear and that "corporate welfare money" would go into the roads.
