Court revives lawsuit over Southfield woman found alive in body bag

Timesha Beauchamp, who had cerebral palsy, was falsely declared dead by first responders in August 2020. When a funeral home unzipped the body bag, she had her eyes open and was gasping for air. Last week, a Michigan appeals court revived a lawsuit against the medical crew involved.

Wife of murder suspect claims self-defense in shooting

A 48-year-old man was denied bond after prosecutors amended charges against him to murder for allegedly shooting and killing someone he's said to have had tension with in recent weeks. The suspect's wife said her husband was defending himself when he shot the victim.
