Volunteers do the impossible at Gleaners Food Bank

It's not food or logistics, but payroll that can be the biggest expense for food banks. Paying employees can eat into the funds meant to purchase food and supplies, which comes at a premium this holiday season. But with the aid of volunteers at Gleaners, those struggling to get by have easier access to food.
