Detroit man charged with beating emotional support puppy while owner was hospitalized
Lenard Maurice Shaw was given a $50,000 bond with no 10 percent after being arraigned on charges of second-degree killing/torturing an animal and abandoning/cruelty to one animal. He is accused of recording himself hurting the puppy then sending videos of the attack to its owner.
