Block party safety emphasized as summer kicks into gear

Mass shootings in Philadelphia and Baltimore this holiday weekend were sobering reminders of the prevalence of gun violence the country still facing. With plenty of summer left, police and public safety advocates are urging the public to be careful with their firearms.
