Foundation putting on events in Idlewild Michigan

Idlewild was founded in 1912 as a summer retreat for African Americans during the Jim Crow era and offered respite from racism and segregation. A nonprofit called the McClure Rabb Idlewild Foundation is bringing new visitors this summer. The first event is June 22.
