Charges announced in Dr. Devon Hoover murder

Wayne County Prosecutor has charged a Detroit man in connection with the 2023 murder of Dr. Devon Hoover, a well-known neurosurgeon. Desmond Burks is accused of shooting Hoover inside the doctor's Boston Edison home.
