Historic Jackson House relocated from Alabama to Michigan's Greenfield Village
Jamie Sherrod sits down with Jim Johnson, Director of Greenfield Village, to discuss the historic Jackson House. The home was a place where civil rights leaders like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. gathered to plan some of the most momentous movements in U.S. History, including the Selma to Montgomery marches. Some of the contents of the home from that time are still inside. The home is expected to open to the public in 2026.
