Flight struck by lightning in rare occurrence, says flight experts

Retired US Air Force pilot General Doug Slocum says aircrafts have come a long way after a plane was struck by lightning while flying through a storm on Sunday. Meanwhile, a metro Detroit man is thankful he is on the ground safe and sound.
