Motor City Kwanzaa Celebration and Kinara Lighting

December 26th, 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The program officially kicks off, leading to the symbolic lighting of the Unity candle at sunset (around 5:00 pm). DAILY LIGHTING: Don’t miss the daily lighting of the Kinara, happening promptly between 5:00 pm and 5:15 pm. It’s a sight to behold and an experience that embodies the spirit of Kwanzaa.
