Ann Arbor NOAA employees become casualties from federal cuts

Nicole Rice, who worked for NOAA for 10 years, and Brie Farina are two of eight employees let go at Ann Arbor’s research station — that’s about 20% of its staff — and its entire communication department was laid off.
