March is National Nutrition Month, organized by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, which focuses on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits. However, some people are tempted to try extreme dieting as they think this will help them get into shape quickly, not realizing that very restrictive diets can have a negative impact on both physical and mental health.
