Officials disappointed in state's previous conduct over Madison Heights environmental hazard

Lawmakers continued conversations regarding the toxic site adjacent to Interstate 696 in Madison Heights. As the Department of the Environment is looking at what kind of damage the contaminants could cause to the surrounding area, city and state officials are looking at how the contamination problem ever got so bad.
