Wayne State's graduation rate for black students stands at 21% - well below the national average

Despite being commended nationally for doing the most to help disadvantaged students complete their degree, Wayne State University's graduation rate for African American students stands at 21%. The school's president says the university wasn't preparing kids for college and all the financial and transportation barriers that come with enrollment.
