Metro Detroit weather: Cold eases ahead of weekend rain

DETROIT (FOX 2) - Our warmup begins today!

Clouds increase, but rain will be tough to come by this afternoon. That changes heading into the weekend. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday each bring wet weather at times.

Friday midday and Saturday afternoon feature scattered showers, while more widespread rain moves in for Sunday. 

Rain lingers into Monday as temps begin to fade, with highs only in the 40s by Tuesday.
