Metro Detroit weather: Cold with flurries Wednesday, more snow to end the week
DETROIT (FOX 2) - Winter’s here to stay! Clouds, cold, and a few flakes will fly today.
Snow totals will be limited—just superficial flakes for most, with minor accumulations possible south and west this afternoon.
A better chance for snow arrives as we wrap up the week. Light snow moves in Friday afternoon and tapers off Friday night, with totals around an inch. A few lake-effect snow showers could linger into Saturday.
The cold eases slightly over the weekend, but we’ll stay below average at least through early next week.
