Another cold day with some flurries

Another cold day is ahead of us. Some flurries may also fly, but no substantial snowfall is in the forecast for Wednesday.

Winter’s here to stay! Clouds, cold, and a few flakes will fly today.

Snow totals will be limited—just superficial flakes for most, with minor accumulations possible south and west this afternoon.

A better chance for snow arrives as we wrap up the week. Light snow moves in Friday afternoon and tapers off Friday night, with totals around an inch. A few lake-effect snow showers could linger into Saturday.

The cold eases slightly over the weekend, but we’ll stay below average at least through early next week.
