DETROIT (FOX 2) - Snow and cold are the themes Thursday.
More cold and snow to start the day, with single-digit lows in place. We’ll aim for freezing this afternoon — not warm, but better than we’ve been, and certainly better than where we’re headed.
Flakes are flying this morning. Snow totals of up to an inch will taper off this afternoon.
Friday brings nothing more than a flurry, and mild air holds through Saturday morning when a mix of rain and snow moves in. Totals will stay limited to around an inch, but dropping temps Saturday afternoon could lead to icy conditions.
The cold deepens Sunday and intensifies early next week. Temps will already be bitter, but wind chills could plunge 10 to 20 degrees below zero, making it feel downright brutal.
