Behind the scenes at Detroit Zoo's amphibian house
(WJBK) - Conservation and preservation efforts are constantly at the forefront at The Detroit Zoo.
When people come to the zoo's amphibian house, for example, they'll see dozens of frogs. But what they won't see are the dozens of frogs breeding behind the scenes to be sent back out into the wild.
Scott Carter joins us from the Detroit Zoo to tell us about this year's conservation and preservation efforts. You can hear from him in the video player above.
We also hear from 10-year-old Trinity Favasza, the mayor of Amphibiville.
