Head for the Cure 5K August 8

(WJBK) - The Head for the Cure foundation has raised millions of dollars in recent years for brain cancer research.

One of its biggest fundraisers is happening this weekend in Detroit - the annual Head for the Cure 5K run and walk.

The walk is Saturday, August 8 at the Detroit Riverfront at Rivard Plaza. The address is 1340 Atwater St. It begins at 8 a.m.
