(WJBK) - Pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of death in the United States. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is preparing for its single biggest fundraising event of the year. 

PurpleStride is the annual walk happening in cities across the country. The walk in Detroit is Sunday, May 20, 2018. 

Loredana Gianino from the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network joined us in studio to tell us more about the walk, along with Jerry Lawrence, a clinical trial patient. You can hear from them in the video player above.
