Amazon driver robbery suspects tracked down in Detroit with Michigan State Police's Trooper 2

Five suspects wanted in the robbery of an Amazon truck driver were tracked down with the help of air support on Tuesday.

Michigan State Police's Trooper 2 helicopter and Detroit police arrested the suspects on the city's east side, in newly released video Thursday.

At about 10:16 p.m. the vehicle's driver fled from DPD, then followed to Eastpointe where three suspects dropped off some packages.

They were picked up a short time later and the pursuit came to an end in the area of Greensboro and Berkshire Street at 10:30 p.m.

Five suspects ran from the vehicle and were tracked on foot until police cruisers could swarm the area.  A few minutes later, all suspects were in custody.

"Another example of great teamwork between MSP and DPD," said MSP Second District's post on X. "These suspects won’t be playing the Grinch anymore!"
