First arctic blast of the season

The first snow of the season, falling across metro detroit right now. there may be much more to come.

It is all light snow and they're diminishing so don't expect any accumulation. The problem is that it's cold out there and you'll see the tempertature numbers below 32, the freezing mark could be cause of slick spots out there.

The coldest spots in the area are 25 in Howell and 29 in Mount Clemens and then factoring in the breeze, some wind chill readings in the single digits.

 Rich Luterman says the snow showers are ending. Although it will certainly be cold Friday but temps will get back to 30 and then for Veterans Day Saturday, 40 degrees for an afternoon high. 

There's a bit of a warmup for next week.
