Great Lakes Crossing responds to online cockroach video

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (WJBK) - A video seeming to show a cockroach near the food court at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times online.

After a FOX 2 viewer shared the video on our Facebook page Sunday, the mall is responding.

The video only shows a single cockroach, but she says many more were on the walls.

Great Lakes Crossing responding with a statement saying the mall's management took action after becoming aware of the video.

"We are committed to listening to our customers and providing the best possible experience for our guests. We have a zero tolerance policy for vendor violations and took immediate action when this matter was brought to our attention.

"As a standard business practice, we routinely inspect all aspects of our property. Additionally, our restaurants adhere to strict, state-mandated and oakland county health department codes."
