Kroger store closing in Dearborn on Michigan Ave
DEARBORN, Mich. (FOX 2) - Kroger has announced the closure of one of its stores in Dearborn.
The location at 23000 Michigan Avenue will be closed as of May 18, 2019. All employees will be offered employment at other area stores, we're told.
Many in the area are familiar with this Kroger because another location is directly across the street. The two stores have been there for decades. The second location will remain open and Kroger says they're looking forward to serving customers there.
The location that's closing is the one on the north side of Michigan Avenue.
We're told the decision was made for financial reasons.
