Man accused of fleeing police after exposing self outside Wyandotte CVS
WYANDOTTE, Mich. (FOX 2) - A man is accused of fleeing after refusing to tell Wyandotte police who he was when they confronted him while he was exposing himself.
Police said a woman flagged an officer down Oct. 10 because a man, later identified as Roberto Taschetti, appeared to be partially nude and possibly committing an indecent act in the parking lot of CVS on Fort.
Taschetti, 68, was exposing himself in a truck that was backed into a parking spot, police said. When an officer approached him, police said Taschetti refused to provide identification, rolled up his window, and drove away.
The officer pursued him at a slow speed for a few blocks before police were able to force him to stop on 22nd Street near Cedar.
While police were attempting to arrest Taschetti, they struggled to get control of him because his arms were covered in what appeared to be petroleum jelly, police said.
Taschetti has a long criminal history, according to police. He is now charged with aggravated indecent exposure and fourth-degree fleeing. His bond was set at $10,000, 10%.
