Motorcyclist struck and killed after crash with SUV in Farmington Hills
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (FOX 2) - A Redford man was fatally injured after the motorcycle he was driving crashed with an SUV in Farmington Hills Tuesday.
The crash took place at the Eight Mile and Grand River intersection at 10 p.m. when the 32-year-old motorcycle driver crashed with a Ford Explorer, driven by a 21-year-old Novi man.
Alcohol or drugs are not believed to have been a factor in the crash. The driver of the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Officers arrived at scene, located the rider of the motorcycle, and rendered aid until firefighter-paramedics from the Farmington Hills Fire Department arrived and took over.

The motorcycle rider was transported to Corewell Hospital Farmington Hills, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the Ford Explorer, identified as a 21-year-old male resident of Novi, remained at the scene, and cooperated with investigators.
The driver was released from the scene pending further investigation.
