Police: 4 found dead on Detroit's west side, carbon monoxide poisoning suspected

Four people were found dead Wednesday afternoon inside a building on Detroit's northwest side.

Officer Moreno with the Detroit Police Department tells FOX 2 a generator was running inside the building, and that carbon monoxide fumes coming from the generator are likely the cause of death.

The bodies were found in a building in the 8800 block of Fenkell Avenue, which is near the intersection of Wyoming Avenue.

FOX 2's Ingrid Kelley is at the scene, and the words 'Unlimited Towing' are painted on the side of the building.

Officer Moreno says all appear to be adult males. It's not known at this time how long they have been deceased.

This is a developing story. Stay with FOX 2 for updates.
